Tupanjac disc harrows are available in multiple working widths and configurations to suit different farm sizes, tractor power, and working requirements. The range includes fixed models of 2.5 m, 3 m, and 4 m, as well as a 4 m hydraulically folding disc harrow designed for easier transport and greater operational flexibility. In addition, trailed models of 4 m and 5 m are available, engineered for efficient work on large areas.
Regardless of size or construction type, all models maintain the same level of build quality, performance, and reliability that Tupanjac disc harrows are known for.
Tupanjac disc harrows are designed to deliver maximum performance in all working conditions, providing excellent cutting, mixing, and leveling of the soil. A key role in achieving high-quality results is played by 620 mm diameter discs, which create a finely crumbled soil structure while ensuring even distribution of plant residues throughout the cultivated layer.
The discs are carefully shaped with optimal contour and concavity, while the serrated forged edge ensures exceptional cutting efficiency and intensive mixing of soil and crop residues.
Tupanjac disc harrows are equipped with Niaux discs made from high-quality materials with controlled elasticity, significantly reducing the risk of cracking and ensuring long service life even in the most demanding conditions.
Their outstanding mechanical properties are achieved through a special progressive heat treatment process, where hardness is optimized by zones: 55–58 HRC at the edge, 50–55 HRC in the middle, and 48–50 HRC at the center. This structure guarantees high wear resistance while maintaining the flexibility required for work in all soil types.
The quality of these discs is confirmed by their use among leading global manufacturers such as Horsch, John Deere, Kubota, and Kverneland, as well as by demanding domestic producers like Tupanjac.
Tupanjac disc harrows stand out thanks to a unique disc mounting system that occupies up to two-thirds less space compared to conventional solutions. This significantly reduces the risk of clogging while allowing specific working angles of the discs, up to 20° relative to the direction of movement.
A working depth of up to approximately 18 cm makes this disc harrow suitable for all soil types and a wide range of working conditions.
Metal tines play an important role in the cultivation process by further breaking down larger clods created by the discs, while also leveling the soil and improving final surface preparation for subsequent operations.
The elasticity and increased hardness of these elements ensure long service life and high resistance to wear.
As a final working element, Tupanjac disc harrows can be equipped with a 600 mm diameter V-ring roller with special scrapers that allow stable operation even in wet conditions. The roller contributes to optimal soil compaction, moisture retention, and additional surface leveling.
The development of Tupanjac disc harrows is the result of continuous monitoring of modern agricultural trends and close cooperation with experts and partners, among which Mikron stands out, with support from the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
During testing in real working conditions, Tupanjac disc harrows have demonstrated outstanding performance and proven that they can competitively match leading global manufacturers in terms of price-to-quality ratio.
